There are very few brands of cat furniture and toys that are aesthetically pleasing and fit the interior of the modern household. Most cat castles/trees on the market are bulky and are a true eyesore. In addition, the cat castles(or trees) and scratchers that are made with design in mind, are very costly. They can range between 300-1000 euros.

SKRATCH is an aspiring cat product brand for cool cats, where cat needs meet design wants of their owners. I would like to design cat trees, shelving systems, cat beds, poufs and scratchers; where price, functionality and design meet in the middle. SKRATCH would like to implement the use of natural materials and sustainable production practices.

In The Netherlands alone, there are about 2.6 million cats and globally this number is 600 million. The market potential for a cat brand making its mark in the area of functional design and practicality of space restricted urban city living, is long overdue.
